In
1984 the citizens of York and the whole country held it's breath
as fire swept through (section) of York's world famous Minster.
Fortunately, the dedication, bravery and swift response of the emergency
services ensured the fire was brought under control and extinguished.
From
the raging fire ancient beams and wooden structural supports were
salvaged and these have been sorted and carefully selected sections
treated and polished to a fine luster, the wood pieces consist of
(for example Oak, Ash). Steeped in the history of York, these pieces
tell the story of the heart of the Minster & can be yours to
own & cherish.
By purchasing a one of a kind section of salvaged York Minster
woodwork you are also making a Difference, all the profits from
items on sale at this web site go directly towards the work you

day to day life of York Minster alive, it also means that vital
